Ian
One of the owners of "The Slacking," Ian tends to be a cynical and pessimistic guy. He never hesitates to look at the bad side of things, even if the situation isn't as bad as he makes it out to be. His specialty is video gaming.

Ray
Ray is the other owner of "The Slacking," but he couldn't be more different from his co-proprietor. Ray is an upbeat, cheerful chap, but this side of his nature often causes him to be at loggerheads with...well, just about everyone else. He's an expert when it comes to comics and books.

Arc
A friend of Ian and Ray, Arc's true nature is a mystery to everyone. He has a nasty habit of appearing and disappearing randomly without warning, quite literally scaring the pants off everyone. His area of expertise is Japanese pop culture.

Jackie
Jackie is a hapless girl who just happened to notice "The Slacking" one day, and thanks to a chance encounter with Arc, had her life changed. For the worse, undoubtedly. She's still trying to figure out what these guys are all about. Never seen without her discman, it's no surprise that she's a music aficionado.
